About Pause Text
Pause Text lets you queue a text message with a delay — from 10 minutes to several months out. When the time comes, you get a notification and can review the message before sending it through your normal Messages app. Everything stays on your device; there are no accounts and no servers.
Frequently asked questions
Does Pause Text send texts automatically?
No. When a queued message is ready, Pause Text opens the standard Messages composer with your text pre-filled. You review it and tap Send yourself.
Where are my messages stored?
Only on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, the queued messages are removed with it.
Why didn't my scheduled message notify me?
Make sure notifications are enabled for Pause Text in iOS Settings → Notifications → Pause Text. Notifications are scheduled locally, so they also require the app to have been opened at least once after scheduling.
How do I cancel or change a scheduled message?
Open the Queue tab, tap the message, and you can edit, reschedule, or cancel it any time before it's sent.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at cassidyarobinson@gmail.com with as much detail as you can — what you expected, what happened, and your iPhone model if relevant.
