Pause Text Privacy Policy

Pause Text is a personal tool for scheduling outgoing text messages. Privacy is a core design principle of the app.

Data Collection

Pause Text does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

All app data is stored locally on your device and is not sent to any external servers.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Recipient phone numbers or selected contact names
• Message text you schedule
• Scheduled send times
• User preferences such as cooldown or delay settings

This data remains stored only on your device and is deleted when you remove the app.

Data Access

Contacts

Pause Text accesses contacts only when you manually select a recipient. At that moment, the app reads only the selected contact’s name and phone number. Contact data is not stored or shared.

Notifications

Pause Text uses iOS local notifications to remind you when a scheduled message is ready to send. Notifications are generated on-device.

Messages App

When you select “Open in Messages,” Pause Text opens the iOS Messages composer with your message pre-filled. You send the message manually.

What Pause Text Does Not Do

• Read or access existing text messages
• Access contacts without user interaction
• Access location, camera, or microphone
• Use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools
• Send any data to external servers

Data Retention

All data remains on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Pause Text does not use iCloud or any external storage services.

Children’s Privacy

Pause Text does not intentionally collect personal data from any users, including children.
